Organic Shampoo Bar

I like this shampoo bar so much that I ordered two in order to make sure there is always some to use. That is despite a jump in price that surprised me... It moves this from the regular shopping list to the Luxury Self-care list but it is always on the necessary list.

This product is small and takes up little space in my shower. But more than appropriate in size, it is thoroughly useful, leaving my hair shiny and clean with no unnecessary fuss.

I hope that whatever caused the jump in price corrects itself. As a retired person, I penny-pinch but I am proud of my white hair and want it to show itself at its best

Clearly this shampoo bar works for some people! Someone else commented that they had hard water and maybe that's a big factor when considering this bar. I live in a place with moderately hard water, and both me (hair type: straight and coarse) and my spouse (hair type: curly and fine) had issues with the soap not lathering. It would just barely lather in our hands and once we tried to wash it from our hair, it was like our hair was shellacked to our heads. I gave my hair 2-3 weeks to "get used to it" as advised on the internet, but my hair did not do what it normally does when I can't wash it (get greasy). Instead, it felt like it had a layer of something on it and then, sure had a volume that I've never had before. . . but I also couldn't run my hand through my hair at all. There was a residue that was coming off my hair and onto the bristles of my brush. I think maybe the bar re-solidified to my hair under the water? Once I admitted it wasn't working, I washed my hair withy my sensitive skin soap bar and everything was back to normal and my hair was back to being silky and touchable!
