Might be obvious but don't pick it up by the top of the pump...it might shatter in your sink! Worth buying again I love it.

Simple, sturdy design
I've been on the hunt for a well designed hand pump that could be used with one hand, a necessity for doing dishes. This is it. Amazon and Target are flooded with cheap knock offs, usually with plastic pump mechanisms. This pump works perfectly; it doesnt give in any direction as you press it down. It doesnt require a lot of pressure to depress it, and its perfectly designed for use with one hand. Excellent purchase
