You will need:
2 cups half and half, evaporated mIlk or mIlk substitute.
Optional: 1/4 lb chopped bacon or kielbasa, grated cheese.
Preparation Instructions:

  1. In 4 quart pot, cook bacon or sausage and drain fat.
  2. Add 6 cups water to meat and bring to a boil. Add potato mix then cover and reduce to simmer
  3. Cook for 20 minutes or until potatoes are soft. Stir occasionalv to prevent scorch-ing.
  4. When potatoes are done add your choice of milk. Heat until warm, do not boil.
  5. Top with grated cheese (optional).
    Salt and pepper to taste.
