Rinse thoroughly after use, press gently to remove excess water, and hang in a well-ventilated space to dry. For a deeper clean, it may be hand washed or placed on a gentle machine cycle. Allow to air dry fully before storing.

How do I use the washcloth?

Wet the washcloth and work up a lather with your soap or body wash. Use it in gentle circular or back-and-forth motions on your face, chest, arms, or hands. The weave softens when wet, so it's easier to modulate pressure than you might expect. Rinse thoroughly after use and hang to dry in a well-ventilated space.

Can I use this on my face?

Yes, the washcloth is our more face-friendly option because its smaller size makes it easier to control pressure. That said, if your skin is new to physical exfoliation, start slow. Use it once or twice a week on the face before working up to more frequent use, and avoid it on active breakouts or irritated skin.

How is this different from the Ayate Bath Strip?

Both are made from the same handwoven natural agave fiber, but they serve different purposes. The washcloth is built for gentler, more precise exfoliation on smaller areas, especially the face, chest, and arms. The bath strip is designed for deeper, more vigorous exfoliation across larger, harder-to-reach areas like your back and shoulders.
