Our sea sponges are sustainably harvested from the pristine waters of the Bahamas, known for their clear, unpolluted environments. Naturally growing on rocks and coral reefs, they are hand-harvested by divers using eco-friendly methods that allow them to regenerate, ensuring a healthy ecosystem.
Unlike many sponges, ours are not bleached, preserving their strength and natural antibacterial properties. This unbleached approach ensures long-lasting durability and sustainability.
We import our sponges into the U.S. under a wildlife certificate from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), ensuring responsible harvesting practices that protect sponge populations and support conservation.
